Carnival - If you came to my house 9/13/09

If you came to my house on Saturday 9/14/09 you would find the woods filled with wet, weary, and frustrated deer hunters. It is the second of three weekends for our deer hunt season. I have yet to hear any shots. Not a good thing for these deer hunters who live for this time of year.

Inside my home you would find:
1. A mountain of books that I don't know where to put. I hit the jackpot at the thrift store.
2. The coffee table littered with fleece for a pillow I am trying to make but got frustrated with and left it in a pile.
3. The living room in transition. I am in the process of putting away summer clothes and bringing in winter. I am late.
4. On the stove is wonderfully fragrant chili and the absolute best brownies ever made.

Please come for a cup of something warm, a bowl of chili, and a fantastic brownie.

  1. Oh, I am all over the chili and brownies. I'd like 2 brownies, please. I get frustrated with projects too. I have more UFOs than I'd like to admit. But it's fun tackling them when I have time.

  2. Sounds a WHOLE lot like my house, minus the deer hunters and the brownies (but I did make cupcakes)!

  3. So glad to be safe inside! Especially with all your good, warm fixin's.

I enjoyed visiting today because I think finding good books at a great price is right up there with coffee (and I love coffee alot!) and crafting is something I love, especially when I finally get over the hard parts that I didn't know would be there!

    Thanks for playing today!
