Friday's Fave Five
November 21, 2009
1. Warm flannel jammies on a cold autumn night. I was so cold the other night that I had to put on the flannels. They were so cozy and warm that I went right to sleep when I got into bed.
2 Bald Eagles in my woods. The other day when I drove into my yard I heard the squawking of the carrion birds. The woods is full of them at this time of year. With all the birds that I see I have never seem not even one bald eagle let alone two. That day there were to of these majestic birds flying around my woods. But of course by the time I got back out with the camera they were gone.
3. Shopping online. I am almost done with my gift shopping. I have done all of it online. This is such a saver for me. I live 22 miles from town, 40 miles from the closest discount store, and 95 miles from the closest mall. I love the internet.
4. Good friends. Good friends that can make you laugh even when you aren't feeling well are the best kind. It is even better when you can make that same sick friend laugh. And even better yet when both of you are sick and you can laugh together.
5. This is harder than I thought. I know that there are other things I like this week, but I am drawing a blank. Maybe for next week I will make a list.

good effort. I never try lists because I get confused.
ReplyDeleteIf I could do all my shopping online I would! And I live five miles from an outlet mall! I just hate shopping.
ReplyDeleteI think about the FFF all week and decide 'oh, that should go in my FFF and then when I sit down to write, I have forgotten. Clearly, a piece of paper and a pencil would help...
Have a great weekend!
Hi and welcome to fave five. You did a fine job. It's amazing how it will become easier and you start looking for things that bless you during your week. I'm glad you jumped on board.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people posted about friends this week. Friends are truly a gift from God!
You have bald eagles in your woods. How cool is that?
Ha! After I read number 3 I see why you have time to ready my blog. Those are some long drives!
ReplyDeleteReally, I'm so glad you read and comment. I like your perspective as a mother. I think I'm a city girl transplanted to island life.
